There’s never enough time for NYC. We spent a couple of days hanging out with friends, unintentionally sightseeing, and eating a lot of good food.

This leg had highlights like KBBQ and a concert along with some less fun events like lightning storms and a last minute change of hotels.

After leaving Austin, we drove through Waco and stayed in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, where we experienced our first rodeo.

We did both tourist and local activities in Austin, from eating BBQ and shopping for cowboy boots to working out and going to the movies.
